Body Of Missing Swimmer Recovered At Lake Travis
The sheriff''s office first got reports of a missing swimmer in the Cypress Aram of Lake Travis just before 6:30 p.m on Friday.
AUSTIN, TX β The body of a missing swimmer was recovered from Lake Travis over the weekend, officials confirmed on Monday.
The Travis County Sheriff's Office lake patrol unit responded to a report of a missing swimmer in the Cypress Aram of Lake Travis just before 6:30 p.m. on Friday, officials said in an advisory. However, officials said, efforts to locate the missing swimmer proved unsuccessful that evening. To augment search efforts, lake patrol crews activated a GPS buoy at the location where the swimmer was last seen, officials said.
Shoreline searches resumed at daybreak on Saturday as lake patrol members gathered at 8 a.m. to search in the area marked by the GPS device. Divers then entered the water around 10 a.m., officials said, before recovering the body thirty minutes later.

The swimmer was identifited as Sally Avison Graham, 27, of San Antonio. An investigation into the cause and manner of her death is being conducted by the Travis County Sheriff's Office and the Travis County Medical Examinerβs Office.
