One coronavirus case reported at West Cypress Hills Elementary on Friday bringing district total to two.

The Lake Travis school district dashboard showed three new cases this week: one at Serene Hills Elementary School, one at Hudson Bend Middle School and one at Lake Travis High School.

The dashboard, which was last updated on Oct. 22, shows three active staff cases and two active student cases in the district overall. The district has reported 15 cases since campuses reopened for in-person learning on Sept. 8. Of those 15, four have been staff and 11 have been students.

The district previously reported an outdated number of cumulative cases. There were 10 cases cumulatively district wide as of Oct. 9 and 12 cases cumulatively as of Oct. 16.

About 65% of students are back on campus districtwide, although the exact percentage varies from campus to campus, according to spokesperson Marcus Alvaro
